Human beings, especially juveniles are not born criminals, but various factors push them to commit criminal offenses. These factors may be prenatal and perinatal, psychological, behavioral, and mental characteristics, social factors like family disturbance or family structure and peer pressure, and community factors like educational institutions rules, policies and neighborhood factors (Siegel, & Welsh, 2016).
